Pajdo is a health buddy for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The short version: your health data never leaves your phone. Here's the long version, in plain words.

Who's behind Pajdo

Pajdo is made by Markovic Software, obrt za usluge, which is responsible for the little data that leaves your device. Questions about your privacy or your data go to support@get-pajdo.app.

Your health data stays on your device

Pajdo reads only the Apple Health data you allow: heart readings (resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, wrist temperature), sleep, steps, exercise and standing, workouts with their heart rate and routes, mindful minutes, how you've been feeling, weight, and your date of birth, which is used only to work out heart rate zones and is never stored.

If you turn on cycle awareness, Pajdo also reads the period days saved in Apple Health. Nothing about it is ever sent anywhere, not even whether it's on, and turning it off deletes everything Pajdo worked out from them.

If you log period days or cycle symptoms in Pajdo, it saves them to Apple Health once you allow it. They stay there if you turn cycle awareness off, and you can delete them in the Health app.

If you import an Apple Health export file, Pajdo reads it on your device, keeps the same kinds of data from it for days Apple Health on that device has none, and makes no copy of the file.

Everything Pajdo reads, everything it works out from it, what it learns about you and anything you type into it stays on your device. None of it goes to us, to analytics, to iCloud or to an AI service in the cloud. The AI that answers your questions runs on your device too. If you use Pajdo on Apple Watch, your iPhone and your watch pass Pajdo's mood, the things he spotted and your quick logs between them, encrypted so only those two devices can read them.

Pajdo saves only what you log yourself to Apple Health: how you feel, symptoms and mindful minutes. And only if you've allowed it.

Pajdo keeps your health data and everything it learns out of iCloud and out of device backups. On a new phone it starts fresh and reads Apple Health again.

What does leave your device

A few things that aren't health data, so we can keep Pajdo working and make it better:

  • Usage analytics, only if you say yes: which screens and features get used, the app version, device type, language and a random ID the app makes for itself. They go to Mixpanel, are stored in the EU and are deleted after two years. Never a health value, and never anything you write.
  • Purchases, through Apple and RevenueCat: whether you have Pajdo Pro, your subscription's status and an anonymous ID. If you share usage stats, RevenueCat also gets the analytics ID so we can see how purchases relate to app use. Apple handles the payment, so we never see your card.
  • Feedback you choose to send while you share usage stats: the reasons you tick and your text, with email addresses, phone numbers and any numbers stripped out before it leaves. You can always email us instead.

No ads, no selling, no tracking

Pajdo has no ads and doesn't track you across other apps or websites. We never sell data, and your health data is never used for marketing.

Sharing is always your call

Pajdo shares something only when you tap Share: a weekly recap card, a report for your doctor or an export of your data. You pick where it goes, and recap cards can hide your numbers.

Your choices

  • Change what Pajdo reads anytime in Apple Health: tap your picture, then Apps.
  • Export your data as CSV files from Pajdo's settings.
  • Delete everything Pajdo keeps with Delete all data in its settings. Deleting the app deletes everything too.
  • Usage stats stay off until you say yes. Turn them on or off anytime with Share usage stats in Pajdo's settings, and turning them off forgets the analytics ID. They aren't linked to your name or email. To ask about them or have them deleted, write to support@get-pajdo.app.

If you're in the EU or UK

We use analytics only with your consent, which you can take back anytime with Share usage stats, and purchase data to give you what you bought. Analytics are deleted after two years, purchase data once your subscription and the law no longer need it. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or complain to a data protection authority, like the one where you live or Croatia's AZOP.

Consumer health data

Some US states, Washington among them, have laws about consumer health data. Here's where Pajdo stands: everything it reads from Apple Health, works out from it or you log in the app stays on your device. We never collect it, sell it or share it with anyone. You can export it from Pajdo's settings and delete it with Delete all data or by deleting the app. Questions go to support@get-pajdo.app.
